"Amazing, cold and mysterious science-sounds is probably the first words to come, when listening to this new piece of art from the dark caves of Scandinavia. The Consumer has returned with the 3rd EP which is again slightly different from past productions. Drawing parallels to both the world of Dopplereffekt and Arpanet it still manages to be very different and The Consumer has quite well establish his/her/their own sound based on different emotional feelings, techniques and creativity according to the use of analog and digital expressions. Perfect!"

2003 release. "Bjorn Svin is one of the main characters in the Danish electro and techno scene. And here is one of his last records... In a very freaky way -- this record makes your legs move! Even though he is most of all known for his great humour and friendly character Björn also deals with techno, and the latest release 'Kantropisk' really shows you these skills! Today he goes around in Europe with his live sets, sometimes drops a DJ set, working along with jazz musicians and performing live with experimental groups making weird elements of background sounds or realtime remixing a classical musician... or just hits the scene with is TR-909 and makes a pumping live act with only the use of this white box!"

"The Consumer seems to bring up some 'advisory' with a wide range of styles going from the simple and raw old school side of electro to the more fine and digital sound combined with a lot of mad and dark lyrics that brings each track a little higher. Six very different tracks that for sure makes it a record to own. Freaky stuff with a lot of surrealism and 3rd dimension and still you find some tracks with a simple structure -- keeping it all down to earth. The Consumer-sound can be described as a unique atmospheric, but yet very dry and sharp sound that includes a lot of small crazy elements. Inspired by the raw sound of Detroit -- moving on to a more open and warm 'world' with influences from James Stinson and Gerald Donald (Drexciya). The melodies are all very emotional and create the ideal sound behind Kondi."
