"We are proud to present two classic Minimal Wave tracks which have been on heavy rotation for years now, 'Computer Bank' and 'Like I Am, Comme Je Suis' remixed by The Floor (Veronica Vasicka & Karl O'Connor). Five Times Of Dust was formed in Bristol, U.K. in 1981 by Mark Phillips and Rob Lawrence. Mark had answered an advert that Rob had placed in a local record shop and later that year they went on to record and release their first tape, The Dadacomputer. A standout track from that tape, 'Computer Bank' is a seminal, 'proto-techno banger'. The Floor remixed it a while ago to DJ it out and since then have been receiving many requests about where it could be purchased. The flip side features Unovidual & Tara Cross' 'Like I Am Comme Je Suis'. It appeared on our first compilation entitled The Lost Tapes LP, in 2006. Unovidual was a Belgian producer involved with the Micrart Group (Autumn, Linear Movement, Twilight Ritual) and Tara Cross, a 'long lost girl from Brooklyn' who used to play in small NYC downtown clubs alongside Madonna during the early 1980s when she was still an unknown. Unovidual and Tara collaborated on several tracks through the mail during this time as well as in the studio. 'Like I Am Comme Je Suis' was recorded in a studio in Ghent, Belgium in 1985. We find both of these tracks prime examples of innovative and pioneering synth wave tracks that work on and off the dance floor. And through these mixes, The Floor aim to stay true to the artists' original intentions whilst making the songs more dance floor oriented. Featured alongside these remixes, are two unreleased tracks. Rob Lawrence's 'Armoured Car' which at one point was released on a compilation CD as Robert (not to be confused with Rob Doran from Hard Corps) and Unovidual's 'Imponative', a beautiful minimal synth track which has remained unreleased to this day. The Five Times of Dust / Unovidual & Tara Cross EP is pressed on standard weight royal blue clear vinyl and housed in a hand stamped disco sleeve. Limited to 600 hand numbered copies."

"Minimal Wave is excited to present a 7" single of two early demos (Kindheitsmuster and Raid) by Dutch electronic music pioneer Das Ding. The final versions of these tracks were released on H.S.T.A. and the Missing Tapes, respectively. The versions here are the most raw and electric recordings we have heard by Das Ding yet. Danny Bosten formed Das Ding as a solo project in the early 1980s and released his music and friends' music via his own cassette label called Tear Apart Tapes. At the time, he was studying graphic design at art school, and in turn he ended up designing the artwork, cassette-sleeves and illustrations for the label himself. Meanwhile, he recorded his own music as Das Ding. Powerful dark electro, he made several addictive and danceable tracks which later become Minimal Wave hits. Danny made all his music in his bedroom which essentially turned into a small recording studio. He went on to release many of his own tapes and also played some live gigs. Old tapes were uncovered around 2010, and Minimal Wave released a remastered version of H.S.T.A. and select other tracks. A wave of renewed interest followed the record's release and soon people were in touch to propose live shows. Twenty years later, and after some deliberation, Das Ding was reincarnated under its old moniker but now with a revised line-up and a working set-up that reflected inevitable technological change. The Kindheitsmuster/Raid 7" is pressed on black vinyl, featuring a photograph that Danny Bosten took during his art school days, and the inspiration for the cover drawing of the H.S.T.A. cassette release from 1982. The 7" is limited to 500 numbered copies."

"We're happy to announce a unique collaboration between one of our long-time favorite artists, In Aeternam Vale and Anneq, a stunning young Madrid-based vocalist originally from Minsk, Belarus. In Aeternam Vale and Anneq met in 2011 and began to collaborate in 2015. In Aeternam Vale, originally from Lyon, has been making synthesizer based electronic music since the early '80s, when he began to self-release many of his recordings on cassette. As the years went on his cold and caustic synth-punk sound, often primitive and hypnotic evolved into rhythmic, throbbing music for the dancefloor, his own unique style of techno. On this record, In Aeternam Vale and Anneq come together to create two very different versions of the same track, one fit for the club and the other a more intimate version, for quiet listening at home. 'Je Ai Dissous', the opener, is a dark smoky track with a hypnotic, cyclical underlay reminiscent of early industrial music while the 'Page R Version' of the same track transcends the floor and becomes completely filmic. Anneq's seductive vocal is suspended in a beat-less, cavernous void. Side B opens with 'Tendencia', a very classic catchy minimal wave style track, sung in Spanish. The 'V6' version of 'Tendencia' again focuses on Anneq's voice set in a darker, slower more atmospheric melody. The four tracks culminate in an elegant and thoughtful collaboration from these two strong talents that complement one another so well. The Je Ai Dissous EP is pressed on 160 gram deep purple 'spilled' inside electric blue transparent vinyl, limited to 999 copies and housed in a gloss printed sleeve."

"A second release by Belgian favorites Linear Movement. The collection entitled The Linear Way marks our 59th release on Minimal Wave and continues our celebration of 10 years as a label. The album is a collection of warm melodic electronic pop songs that have for the most part remained unreleased until now. Linear Movement is Belgian mastermind Peter Bonne (A Split-Second, Twilight Ritual, Autumn) joined by Peter Koutstaal, and Lieve Van Steerteghem contributing vocals on the final track. The songs 'The Linear Way' and 'Don't Try To Trick Me' appeared on the exquisite Pulse Music cassette (released by the Micrart Group in 1983) while the rest were never officially released. Our last collection of Linear Movement material entitled On the Screen came out in 2008 and is now long sold out. We're very excited to present this special archival album and finally make these tracks available. The Linear Way LP will be presented in a heavy quality full color printed sleeve, and pressed as a limited edition of 999 copies on 180 gram pink vinyl."

"An exquisite double LP release by obscure Japanese artist Tomo Akikawabaya. As long time admirers of Akikawabaya's 1980s releases on his own label Castle Records, we had attempted to reach him for many years without any luck. Finally at some point in 2014, a conversation was struck and one thing lead to the next. It was through Nao Katafuchi that we finally made contact with the legend himself, and began speaking about the proposed release idea. It turned out that the admiration was mutual, which was surprising as we thought Akikawabaya had disappeared completely. After working through the track selection and artwork ideas, we came up with the release plan. We're very excited to present this double LP entitled The Invitation of The Dead. The collection of songs include the entirety of both The Castle (1984) and Anju (1985) releases, all newly remastered. They sound fresher and stronger than ever before, exactly as the artist had intended them to sound when he recorded them 30 years ago. The songs that span this double LP are personal and unique; they are dark synthpop gems. The artist still remains a mystery, as does his relationship to the model Rena Anju featured on this and all but one of his album covers (Kojiki to Onna). The Invitation of The Dead double LP is a limited edition of 999 copies."

2016 repress. "Minimal Wave proudly presents a newly remastered deluxe double album of archival material by pioneering '80s minimal electronic duo Oppenheimer Analysis. Oppenheimer Analysis was formed in London, England, in 1982 by Andy Oppenheimer and Martin Lloyd. Their first meeting though was at the 1979 World Science Fiction Convention in Brighton. They quickly became good friends, sharing an interest in the work of David Bowie, electronic music, and early synthesizer bands such as the Human League and Soft Cell. They also shared a love of old science fiction movies and 1950s graphics and comic book imagery, and a fascination with post-World War II propaganda, the politics and aesthetics of the Cold War, and the social impact of the atomic bomb. Over the next few years Andy and Martin frequented the growing club scene, including Studio 21 on Oxford Street, and became involved in the developing Futurist and New Romantic style sub-cultures. During this period Martin recorded as Analysis, both alone and with David Rome of Drinking Electricity. They released their first single, Surface Tension/Connections on David's Survival label in 1981. In 1982, Oppenheimer Analysis began writing and recording together at Feedback Studio in Battersea, and performed several times at The Bell, Islington, the 1983 World David Bowie Convention in Hammersmith, the Starzone Birthday Party at Camden Palace, the 1984 European Science Fiction Convention in Brighton, and other live venues. Their first demo tape and 12-song New Mexico cassette were sold at gigs and by mail-order, and were reviewed in Melody Maker, Sounds, and Soundmaker. For the years to follow, Oppenheimer Analysis became recognized among electro-music aficionados as a pioneering duo that influenced countless other bands during the club and home-recording era of the early 1980s and beyond. Their cassettes became massively collectible. In 2005 they re-formed with the release of a self-titled four-song 12" EP of selections from the New Mexico cassette, including 'Cold War' and 'The Devil's Dancers.' This marked the first release on Minimal Wave. Now in 2015, we're happy to present the entire New Mexico collection, newly remastered and cut to vinyl for the first time ever, to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. This first edition of 1000 copies is pressed on deluxe 'nuclear' style black-and-white 160-gram vinyl and housed in a glossy gatefold silver-and-black printed sleeve, featuring all the song lyrics on the inside of the sleeve."

"Minimal Wave is pleased to present a fourth 12" single from our French favorites, In Aeternam Vale. This one features another monumental 14 minute techno masterpiece called 'Gnd Lift.' On the flip side are two pure wave tracks, 'J'ai Mangé des Nerfs' and 'Animals Don't Mind.' 'Gnd Lift' is a slow building hazy hypnotic track with heavy atmosphere, fitting perfectly on a smoke filled dance floor. 'J'ai Mangé des Nerfs' is a classic vocal driven synthpop track with the grit characteristic of In Aeternam Vale's 80's cassette works. The 12" closes with 'Animals Don't Mind,' a slow and deeply emotive smoldering darkwave track that speaks directly to the heart, this one feels the most personal thus far. The Gnd Lift 12" shows us all sides of In Aeternam Vale, his strengths lying in his ability to create both techno masterpieces and classic underground wave tracks, moving seamlessly from one to the next. None of these tracks have ever been released before although In Aeternam Vale has been performing them live recently with much acclaim. The pressing is limited to 999 copies, all pressed on 160 gram clear transparent deep purple vinyl, accompanied by a hand-numbered matte printed sleeve."

"A reissue of the seminal first album from Swiss Wavers, Guyer's Connection. Tibor Csebits and Philippe Alioth formed Guyer's Connection in Basel, Switzerland when they were only 14 and 15 years old. At the time they were in a new wave rock band called Kurtzschluss which they decided to break from in order to make purely electronic music. They began with two synthesizers, a drum machine, a 4-track tape recorder and a multitude of ideas. They channeled their unique and humorous vision into their first album, entitled Portrait which they produced themselves and self-released in 1983. Over the years, the album became a highly sought after minimal synth cult classic. It stands alone as one of the strongest examples of Swiss Minimal Wave, and probably the only one that is in Baseldytsch. The Portrait reissue is presented in a high quality gloss sleeve, with artwork to match their original sleeve design from 1983. The record features newly remastered audio pressed on 180 gram black vinyl, as a hand-numbered edition of 999."

"We're honored to present a 12" EP of tracks from the archives of Sheffield based electronic music legend Richard H. Kirk, entitled Never Lose Your Shadow. Kirk first came to prominence in the 1970s as a member of the seminal industrial band Cabaret Voltaire. His first release as a solo artist, Disposable Half-Truths, came out in 1980 on Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records label and since then he developed a solo career parallel to the band until its dissolution in 1994. On the EP, we compile tracks originally recorded between 1978 and 1987, which have never before been released on vinyl. The title track, 'Never Lose Your Shadow' blurs the lines between harsh industrial, dance floor, and no wave. This is one we've been playing out for a while now and wondering why it hadn't been pressed on vinyl. The other three tracks are more experimental and reference ideas Kirk was exploring in Cabaret Voltaire at the time. When asked specifically about this collection, Kirk explains that 'none of the tracks were outtakes for Cabaret Voltaire, they were always solo tracks, although I think Never Lose Your Shadow was very much a blueprint for the material that Cabaret Voltaire recorded for Virgin / Some Bizarre between 1983-85. The minimal sequencer / drum machine lockdown that I used later for Cabaret Voltaire was pioneered on this track. Lyrically, Never Lose Your Shadow was inspired by the 1971 speed freak road movie Vanishing Point, amongst other things.' The EP is limited to 999 hand-numbered copies."

"Minimal Wave is proud to present a six song EP by the UK/US duo Sandra Electronics. Originally formed as Sandra Plays Electronics by Karl O'Connor in 1988, the project has evolved over the years to become a collaborative endeavor with Juan Mendez (aka Silent Servant). Three of the tracks were first released as an untitled 10" on Downwards in 2010, and the record quickly sold out. Those songs have been re-edited and remastered for this EP, and three more rare demos and live versions have been added. The songs can be described as hypnotic industrial electronic mantras with enigmatic keyboards and treated vocals. Each track draws the listener in, with its repetitive psychedelic percussion and dark affected vocal. The record is a hand-numbered edition of 999 copies pressed on 180 gram ultra clear vinyl, and housed in a high quality heavy weight printed sleeve featuring a vintage photograph of Samia Gamal."

"A remastered reissue of Soma Holiday's cult classic, Shake Your Molecules. Soma Holiday was a Franco-American duo consisting of Jean-Marc Vallod (FR) and Jane Honicker (US), based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn back in the early 1980s. They recorded 'Shake Your Molecules' along with Too Many People' and 'Art Dimension' in 1984, at Unique Studios in Manhattan. The studio was known for being the first NYC studio with MIDI capabilities. With the help of Eric Dufaure, they had their 12" released on Cachalot Records in France, and later a further pressing was made by Les Disques Du Soleil Et De L'Acier. Whilst in NYC, they worked with Jay Burnett, a protégé of Arthur Baker, who was active in the synth-pop, hip hop and electro scenes. He engineered their 24 track recording sessions at Unique and later went on to collaborate with Adam 'MCA' Yauch of the Beastie Boys on a 12" for Def Jam as well as doing a mix of the cult classic 'I.O.U.' by Freeez. That quintessential NYC electro/hop hop sound infused with the French new wave sensibility is what ended up making 'Shake Your Molecules' such a unique dance floor hit. Proudly, we present four beautifully remastered tracks by Soma Holiday, the original 'Shake Your Molecules' mix, the unreleased dub version and two other unreleased outtakes of 'Too Many People' and 'Art Dimension,' all from their 1984 studio recordings at Unique Recording Studios. Soma Holiday's Shake Your Molecules EP is pressed on 180 gram oxblood vinyl and limited to 999 copies. Full color gloss sleeve with two sided insert featuring photograph of Soma Holiday in front of their home in Brooklyn and full liner notes with text by Jean-Marc Vallod."

2014 repress, originally released 2011. "Selections from the band's best material. Autumn was the legendary project of Peter Bonne and Geert Coppens, two Belgian teenagers who started experimenting with the potentials of analog synthesizers during the late '70s and formed a band together soon after in 1980, quickly becoming one of the most truly visionary groups to emerge from the synth scene in Europe. The album is titled after their 'Synthesize' single which was recorded along with its B-side 'The Third Autumn' in 1981 in a professional 24 track studio in only seven hours. Both songs became modest summer hits in Belgian dance clubs in 1982, and the release been highly sought after ever since. This album features 'Synthesize' and 'The Third Autumn' along with other cassette only favorites like 'I Say You Hello,' 'Not Afraid To Die,' and 'Night In June' (featured on Angular's Cold Wave & Minimal Electronics compilation in 2010). Considering how young Autumn were when they recorded these songs, the production is very impressive. These multi-layered synthpop gems are catchy, danceable and definitely ahead of their time. 'I Say You Hello' has been described as an 'amazing' piece of synth music with 'insanely catchy vocals, an incredible bass line and some mind-melting analog patterns.' Autumn was previously featured on The Lost Tapes LP with their 'Time Is On Our Side,' a magical piece of dark synth wave music. Due to heavy interest in the band and our general love for all Micrart Group projects, we decided a full LP needed to be released. Thus we present it to you: a hand-numbered, limited edition pressing on 180 gram clear-green vinyl housed in a heavy printed gloss jacket."

"A 10" reissue of Blancmange's seminal debut EP Irene & Mavis. Formed in the UK by Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe, Blancmange recorded the six songs on Irene & Mavis in 1979 and released it as a 7" EP in 1980. Irene & Mavis, though not exactly representative of what Blancmange later went on to become, is a fascinating relic that captures the gestation period of the duo, fresh out of art school and keen to experiment. The D.I.Y. sound of the EP fits right in there with the early output of Soft Cell, the Human League, and Cabaret Voltaire; but what separates it from those like-minded releases of the time is that it's even more distinctly English. In fact it was Daniel Miller, supporter and Mute boss himself who first recognized this when he proclaimed them 'the maiden aunts of electronic music.' The Irene & Mavis EP is simultaneously pioneering, provincial, and surreal in its down-to-earth playfulness and lack of artifice. It stands out as an important record, capturing the mundane with modern electronics and remains as an artifact representative of the band before they went on to reach pop chart success. The Irene & Mavis EP has been newly remastered and will be released as a numbered limited edition 10" EP."

"A double LP of selections of unreleased material from the prolific outsider/underground duo Five Times of Dust. Formed in 1980 in Bristol, the duo of Mark Phillips (MAP) and Robert Lawrence came together with a shared passion for krautrock, industrial electronics, and the burgeoning DIY tape scene as well as being influence by the Dadaist movement and the works of Burroughs and Ballard. Unconventional and quirky, yet at times melancholic and romantic their music was a perfect escape from the urban decay of early '80s Bristol and Cardiff, the two cities they travelled between at weekends to record. Although unashamedly electronic, the sound of Five Time of Dust is far harder to pin down, in part perhaps due to their location. Both Phillips and Lawrence produced music that owed little to any scene happening in London, Manchester or Sheffield at the time. As a result, the majority of their output sounds like perfectly formed electronic curiosities. The material on Smile with the Eyes spans recordings Lawrence and Phillips made between 1982-1986. As a follow up to The Dadacomputer, their debut cassette release as a duo which we reissued earlier this year, Smile with the Eyes remains lo-fi but is musically more complex. The recordings are catchy, curious and emotionally rich. Whereas The Dadacomputer could be compared with the early output of Robert Rental, Smile with the Eyes is a collection of works that stands all on its own. Smile with the Eyes is a double LP pressed on 180 gram black vinyl and housed in a heavyweight gatefold sleeve. Limited edition to 500 numbered copies."

Apart from their releases on Survival and Polydor, Hard Corps gained some notoriety for their unique and uncompromising live shows throughout the 1980s. It was the juxtaposition between their hard edged industrial sound and the fragile and enigmatic vocals of French front woman Regine Fetet that created an unusual dichotomy, lending to their strength of character as a band and thus allowing them to stand out from the rest. "Minimal Wave is proud to present a third 12" single from our French favorites, In Aeternam Vale. This one is in the same vein as the Dust Under Brightness/Highway Dark Veins 12" and the La Piscine/Calling Somewhere 12". The single features two more epic, pioneering masterpieces. 'Machine à Laver' (Washing Machine) sounding much like its title, is 12 minutes of pure electronic hypnotica. And the flip side is a more straightforward 127 BPM, 11 minute number entitled 'Ultrabase,' which is an unashamed slab of innovative dub techno from 1990, existing completely outside of its genre. Neither of these tracks have ever been released before. The pressing is limited to 999 copies, all pressed on 160 gram clear electric blue vinyl, accompanied by a hand-numbered matte printed sleeve."

"A release of early 1980s ritualistic minimal electronics by French duo DZ Lectric + Anthon Shield. The songs are selections from their 1985 cassette release, Confessions D'Un Masque. Having been active in their respective projects, the duo came together naturally in 1981 and over the years began recording music together. They shared a similar philosophical outlook and love of music, from classic rock like The Velvet Underground and The Stooges, to the edgier, industrial and no wave stuff that was coming out at the time, bands like Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, and Tuxedo Moon. They performed a number of times at special venues and festivals in Europe, creating intense and engaging live performances with minimum equipment and an abundance of spirit. They also released many tapes throughout the 1980s. Their music is challenging and hypnotic. Brutal and aggressive at times, overall the message speaks more about human ritual than anything truly sinister. All the songs on the Lickin' LP have been remastered from their original reel to reel tapes. The vinyl is presented in a matte heavy printed sleeve featuring a documentary photograph of the duo performing live at the DMA2 Festival in 1986, with a matching printed inner sleeve featuring a more posed portrait. The record is pressed on 180 gram black vinyl, and limited to 999 hand-numbered sleeves."

"We are pleased to present an LP of selections from the prolific Belgian synthpop band Polyphonic Size. Headed by Roger-Marc Vande Voorde, Polyphonic Size formed in 1979. In December of that year, they released their first record, the Algorhythmic EP on Sandwich Records, an independent label founded by Michel Lambot. After a second EP (Pragmatic Songs), Roger-Marc got in touch with Jean-Jacques Burnel, who offered to produce the next single, 'Nagasaki Mon Amour.' This first musical collaboration was followed by many others, including an outrageous and robotic cover of the Rolling Stones' classic, 'Mother's Little Helper.' Although Polyphonic Size and JJ Burnel were very close to each other, the band always kept its own personality, which was less dark and more European than the Stranglers. The Earlier/Later LP are remastered selections, curated mainly from Polyphonic Size's early output as a band, from when they formed in 1978 to when they began working with JJ Burnel in 1980. The tracks on side A represent their early period were recorded between 1978-1980 and the side B tracks, recorded between 1980-1982, are representative of how their sound evolved whilst working with a producer. The LP is pressed on transparent red 180 gram vinyl, housed in a heavy printed sleeve with text overlay printed on a clear vinyl outer sleeve, and limited to 999 hand-numbered copies."

It was the result of collaboration between Robert Lawrence and Mark Phillips who came together during the summer of 1981 living between Bristol and Cardiff, UK. They collaborated by sending tapes back and forth through the mail and also worked together in their respective home studios. "The Actor is a well known but simultaneously quite obscure minimal wave project that emerged from the Dutch home taping scene of the early 1980s. The duo was formed by Marcel Reimer (vocals, keyboards) and Sander Horsthuis (keyboards) in Breda, The Netherlands in late 1981. Influences were DAF, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and Fad Gadget. Guitars were no option, 'because the amplifiers would mar the stage.' The Actor caught the attention of cult cassette label Trumpett through their powerful live act and were signed to the label in April 1982. Their first, self-produced album was released in September 1982 as Exploded View (an exploded view of a cassette tape was featured on the sleeve): ten quite simply arranged synthpop tracks that were dynamic and danceable, with lyrics sung both in English and German, relating to the modern world, fashion, dancing, fame, appearance, and self-image. The track featured on this flexi-disc, 'Unreal Personality,' is the opening track of Exploded View and the archetypical The Actor song, with lyrics directly referring to the band's name. It has been remastered from its original analog source tape for best possible sound reproduction. "A 7" release of primitive D.I.Y. electronics by Sandra Plays Electronics, a project founded by Karl O'Connor (Regis) while he was a teenager living in Birmingham, England in the 1980s. O'Connor, mostly known for his pioneering work in the techno field (as Regis, Sandwell District, British Murder Boys, and various other entities) as well as his Downwards label, began playing and recording his own music when he was 16 years old. He collaborated with friends performing in short-lived bands such as Family Sex and also recorded on his own as Sandra Plays Electronics. He was heavily influenced by D.A.F., Liaisons Dangereuses, Cabaret Voltaire, and Soft Cell, to name a few. He would eventually collaborate with Robert Görl and also Chrislo Haas in the late 90s. The tracks we are presenting here are two versions of the same song, 'Her Needs,' both recorded in Birmingham, England. The first was recorded in 1988 during sound check at the College of Food and Domestic Arts and the second was recorded in 1999 (from the Man Has Responsibilities session) at the Ice House. Pressed on heavy weight 70 gram ultra clear vinyl, the 7" is housed in a matte double sided printed sleeve. Limited to 999 numbered copies."

"Due to popular demand, we have decided to do a limited repress of our tenth release by Blackpool band Das Kabinette. They were known mainly for their underground hit 'The Cabinet,' which was originally released as a 7" single in 1983, and later appeared on The Minimal Wave Tapes: Volume 1 in 2010. The song is inspired by the 1920 classic silent horror film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, a highly influential film of the German expressionistic era. The film is themed around: the madness of society, the inner workings of the human mind, and the paranoia of a country in the aftermath of a war. Fascinated and inspired by both the themes and visuals of the film, Das Kabinette wrote the song 'The Cabinet' during their second visit to the studio in 1983, and self-released it later that year on their own Klosette Records label. They also created a primitive video whilst at art college, to go along with the song. 'The Cabinet' was aired on BBC Radio 1 on several occasions and was a solid underground hit. Unfortunately the band dissolved several years later. We made contact with them in 2007 and aside from re-mastering the 7" single tracks, culled together a collection of unreleased studio tracks. Those were then released in January 2008 as Spy Thriller. The record sold out quickly soon after. Finally, we present to you a repress of Spy Thriller on 180 gram ultra clear vinyl, limited to 500 hand numbered copies complete with a heavy weight die-cut matte jacket, with a printed inner sleeve which shows through the window."

2017 repress, originally released in 2010. "Minimal Wave is proud to present a full length LP by French duo Deux. Gérard Pelletier and Cati Tete formed Deux after meeting in Lyon in 1981. Their music can be described as minimal synth with stripped down rhythm compositions and suitably cold duets. Their influences are a perfect blend of Kraftwerk and French synthpop. Between 1983 and 1992, they released a cassette and several rare singles : Felicita / Game & Performance and Europe / Paris / Orly. They also appeared on the V/A BIPP LP (2006) and V/A The Minimal Wave Tapes: Vol 1 LP. The album features newly remastered demo tracks as well as their best studio recordings. This LP is a hand numbered limited third edition, pressed on 180 gram black vinyl, housed in a heavy matte jacket lined in pale blue with an innersleeve of printed black and white photographs of Gérard and Cati. R.I.P. Gérard Pelletier (1952-2013)."
