Dublin's R.Kitt, fresh off the back of an incredible live throw down at AVA Festival in Belfast, sent us through some divine music that was a must-have. Ripples From The Edge shares five sentimental yet forward-thinking originals from the rising producer as well as a remix from label founder Eluize. The title track comes with cascading arps, ariose droplets, and pure, smokey pads that burst through a jungle of thumping percussion. "I Wish You Hadn't Said" gets going with gritty breaks and glassy synths that would be at home on a fog-laden warehouse floor, and mood-lightening melodic jabs slice through before things turn back to a tumultuous minor. "Strange Perspective" is casual and light-hearted, funk-charged electro. On the flip, "Stitch Up" feels ancestral, with heavy bass, earthy leads, and a dark and enigmatic vocal hitting heavily. Damhsa, the Irish word for dance, inspires the next jam, "Machine Damhsa", a fast paced 4/4 beckoning to do so. The track's breath-taking breakdown gives a moment of transcendence between its boundless energy and pulsating drive. Eluize couldn't resist the lush melodies from "Ripples," and dives in to turn out a cosmic, '80s-touched b-boy-ready version. On Albrecht La'Brooy's Emissary EP, the Melbourne duo's live approach to programming and arrangement can be heard as the tracks ebb and flow effortlessly. In "Tempelhof", sub swells and a throbbing kick accompany delicate leads and lightly touched drums. "Hinterhof" pulses and sways with lively percussion, crystalline bells, euphoric strings and softly-spoken melodies. "U-Bahn / S-Bahn" begins with glistening top lines and panoramic chords over a growling bass and a steady groove. As the journey rolls on from the underground into open-air window-gazing territory, the piece takes an ambient, beatless turn.

Thommyy Ra and Simonn present Lost Journey EP, a six-tracker of analog-laden esoteric house. On the A side, Thommyy Ra opens with "Journey Into Nowhere", a synth-drenched opus propelled by throbbing percussion, following with "Die Darling Die", a '90s, left-of-center house cut, and finishing with the creepy and groove-heavy "Razzy Moon". On the B side, Simonn starts with "Unknown Habits", a party piece with vibrant chords that pulse among thumping drums. He turns to the aquatic, pads of "Lost In Progress" before finishing with "Raw And Unbleached" where melodies tumble and burst over one another - light, dreamy and gritty.

Emma Sainsbury aka Eluize launches her Night Tide imprint with her Talk In Technicolour EP. "Make Me Sin" swells and flows, awash with cascading musical ideas, hypnotic rhythmic elements, and a driving bottom end. "Talk in Technicolor" is a dreamy and melodic club cut that packs a surprising amount of punch. "Up All Night" is a sub-driven slow-down. Unhurried and uncluttered, keys and strings float through open space while gentle vocals slide into the landscape. Hans Berg reinterprets the piece into a powerfully deep techno storm, pairing synth lines that whip and scatter over the original's playful melodic refrains.
