PITS 006EP

With remixes by Nightmoves, Mock & Toof & Clark. "Though occasionally lumped in with the new rave scene due to their age and the fact they make dance music while wielding guitars, they owe more to Talking Heads and M83 than they do Suburban Base B-sides. Nottingham-based duo Nightmoves have quickly established themselves as key playas over the last year, delivering fat, electronic house remixes of Klaxons, Punks Jump Up, Freeform Five, Shit Disco and, er, Robbie Williams while recording for Kitsune, and there's no let up here as they deliver a slamming, percussive, funk-propelled monster. DFA-signed North Londoners Mock and Toof have very much ploughed their own 4/4 furrow over the last couple of years, and here they add a ravey element to their Moroder-esque rhythms, combining a two-note disco Mentasm bassline with clever use of original 'Photobooth' vocal snippets to create a groovy and hypnotic slow-burner."
