Common knowledge to some, and not others, Fig. 04c is the second album from Dave Barnard aka Monolith (Bernard Davies) under the pseudonym Photodementia, in collaboration with '90s funk legends Victor Beaudet and Ellen O'Maly. This album is a darker, edgier follow-up to Dave's previous braindance masterpiece Welcome, that was released on Rephlex (2011). This new album is a compilation of two recently re-released, well-noted EPs, with a few extra tracks for good measure. It's a journey of moody electro-fuelled techno and soulful analog grooves. Just over an hour of entertainment that will impress you.
