Grains (15th Anniversary), for the first time since the original pressing, appears on vinyl again. Remastered, extended 11 tracks on 180g vinyl. In 2009 Boozoo Bajou released their third album Grains. It is the duo's most organic album so far, making beautiful sounds by blending modern electronics with live instruments. An album of underground sounds, but based on strong melodies and emotional vocals. Inspired by acoustic singer-songwriters they made Grains out of their love for the Laurel Canyon sound. They created something fresh and modern from their old-school inspirations, weaving them into their studio soundscapes. Their fans will appreciate the rich mix of contemporary and vintage sounds. A folk songbook for the 21st century.

Boozoo Bajou celebrate their 25th anniversary with new album! 25 years after their first 12" Release Night over Manaus, Boozoo Bajou present us their fifth full length studio album. The Nuremberg downbeat funkster have 12 new tracks and they chose Finistère as the title for this masterpiece on their own label Pilotton. The double vinyl album alongside the digital release shows the return of Boozoo Bajou to their roots manifested in 2001 with their timeless debut album Satta (PILOTTON 005LP, 2022). Again, the musical ingredients include soul, dub, jazz, Latin, and blues vibes played and arranged in classic Boozoo Bajou style. Being strictly downtempo Finistère manages to melt all these elements and influences into one warm sounding listening experience based on excellent mixing and mastering by Boozoo Bajou member Peter Heider. Vocals are delivered by Steve Spacek and Jules while Fürsattl and MODALiST participate as co-producers.

Reissue, originally released in 2005. Dust My Broom, Boozoo Bajou's second album after the worldwide success of their debut album, 2001's Satta (PILOTTON 005LP). First time available after the original pressing on !K7 back in 2005. Dust My Broom comes from the blues. In a figurative sense, this means, among other things, making a clean table and the beginning of something new, a new beginning; above all they open a new chapter in the Boozoo Bajou sound. You can hear a lot more vocals on "Dust My Broom", there is Joe Dukie the front man of Fat Freddy's Drop or the US country legend Tony Joe White. Also featured is Blaxploitation/Motown icon Willie Hutch and American singer Ben Weaver. With U-Brown, who was once MC for King Tubby and the English Jungle MC Top Cat, there is also a special reggae touch among the singers. The famous Boozoo'sche slowness has given way to an interest in variable rhythms and tempos, while maintaining the same leaning back. What has remained are the classic Boozoo constants. The atmosphere, for example, remains deep. The musical range: wide. Dust My Broom a classic that is in no way inferior to its predecessor Satta, will be available again on double vinyl. Also features Wayne Martin. New 45 rpm mastering by MHeino Leja - manufactured at Optimal/Germany, on 180 gram limited heavyweight black double vinyl with gatefold sleeve.

20th anniversary vinyl repressing from the original DMM-master! First time available after the original pressing on Stereo Deluxe back in 2001. Back in 1997 the Nuremberg based jazz musician and studio owner Peter Heider started seeing the DJ and nightlife activist Florian Seyberth for regular studio sessions. Within a few weeks they chose the name Boozoo Bajou for their collaboration. With musical ingredients like soul, dub, country or Brazilian obscurities they created their own trademark sound. With the first two singles "Night Over Manaus" and "Under My Sensi" they became a much-celebrated part of worldwide downbeat scene led by artists like Kruder & Dorfmeister or Nightmares on Wax. In 2001 they created a legendary and much rated masterpiece in that genre by releasing their debut album Satta on the iconic Stereo Deluxe label. 20 years later, this 60-minute blueprint original of the chill out scene named after the Jamaican word "Relax" is available again on double vinyl pressed from the original lacquers. 180 gram vinyl; gatefold sleeve.

The actual first link-up between the US country legend Tony Joe White and the Nuremberg based downbeat producer duo Boozoo Bajou happened in early 2003 when Warner Music US approached Boozoo Bajou with a free-pick to remix a track from their huge back catalog. They immediately went for the iconic Tony Joe White classic "Rainy Night in Georgia" and gave this long-time favorite their remix treatment. The personal positive feedback from Tony Joe White himself for that remix was overwhelming and everybody was set to continue. Up next was a warm 2004 summer night in Hamburg, Germany with the actual location being the backstage area of the Fabrik Club. Tony Joe White just left the stage after performing a breathtaking set looking back at his long-lasting career which started in the late sixties. After speaking on the phone various times and exchanging ideas by email during the months before this is the first ever meeting in person. For the next few entertaining hours, they enjoyed a few beers and the plan to work together was nailed down with all involved people having a smile on their faces when they left. With "Keep Going" the first outcome of their collaboration was going to see the light of day on the Boozoo Bajou album Dust My Broom released in 2005 on !K7. Afterwards it took a 16-year long break before the second part of their joint recordings is going to appear on a limited edition 10" vinyl. Originally recorded back in 2005 it is a re-lick of Tony Joe White's wonderful 1969 tune "Aspen Colorado" which was newly sung with additional blues harp and guitar by the man himself on a soulful laidback Boozoo Bajou beat. After the tragic death of Tony Joe White in October 2018 it was rather vague if this was going to happen but with the grateful help of his son Jody Boozoo Bajou can finally present this musical gem to the public. Includes a cosmic mix by Frank Mollena.
