Traum are Luca Ciffo (Fuzz Orchestra), Lorenzo Stecconi (Lento), Luca T. Mai (Zu), and Paolo Mongardi (Zeus!). Traum's first album is the result of almost a month of living together in an old farmhouse, playing, improvising and sharing lives and musical passions. Through a state of presence and mutual listening, the eight tracks that make up this multifaceted album were born: music takes on different forms, guiding the listeners on a journey within themselves. The album is the spontaneous fruit of an impulse to communicate and explore today's reality musically, both internally and externally.

An-Nûr, "light" in Arabic, is The Black Flamingo's first album. Six tracks that go feature obsessive rhythms, lysergic journeys, and stoner blows. "An-Nûr" is also the title of the single, a long trip of black holes and solidarity with Palestinian people. The album was recorded in Rome, in the "cinque quarti" studio, under the patient supervision of Lorenzo. The Black Flamingo is a stoner-psych instrumental trio, with vibes skirting around space and desert and rotten attitude. The band formed in Rome by Erio Destratis (guru and housekeeper), Tiziano Giammichele (Camion, Cielo Drive), and Mattia Lolli (the Whirlings).

The Kotiomkin band was born from a great passion for '60s/'70s/'80s Italian genre cinema, a series of movies characterized by aesthetically innovative approach, in complete opposition to the mainstream and to more or less politicized intellectual cinema of the time. The duo devote themselves to the creation of instrumental soundtracks for non-existent movies, with invented plots featured in the liner notes, having as a reference the classic soundtracks of the time but revisiting them with the violence of the most modern stoner, pushing the boundaries of doom. It is the rediscovery of a never really finished cinematic world that is also celebrated in terms of its extraordinary soundtracks by musicians such as the masters Ennio Morricone, Nico Fidenco, Fabio Frizzi, Franco Micalizzi, Berto Pisano, Lallo Gori, up to bands such as Goblin, Osanna, Libra, Marc 4, and many others. Kotiomkin not only look at horror movies but also at those more niche genres, ranging from erotic, to "giallo," to "poliziottesco," and more extreme subgenres such as cannibal movies, "mondo" movies, or sexploitation, all with a violence of sounds unknown to Italian B-movies.

The Cortina Protocol is the sound of these images. Recorded in three days to tape at The Cowshed Studios in North London in early 2021 the album wiretaps the colder veins of '60s and '70s crime soundtracks, weaving tense cinematic atmospheres, hypnotic kraut-isms, and swirling psychedelic funk. Initially influenced by the widescreen aesthetics of Roy Budd, Heliocentrics, John Cameron, Tortoise, DJ Krush, Can, and 23 Skidoo, the album was spontaneously composed, taking many unexpected paths yet creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout. Formed in 2021 by Matthew Rozeik from London experimental duo Necro Deathmort, The Cortina Protocol explores the darker side of cinematic noir. Featuring a fluid cast of like-minded musicians, their debut self-titled album is the first of many deep explorations.

Doom Jazz II: Deception continues the epic story of the Doom Jazz saga, with Jamie Saft and Bobby Previte trading the slow, sensual lines of Doom Jazz I for a more active, muscular sound. Side One, "The New Friend" and "Everyone is Aware," uses a vintage Yamaha organ to create an atmosphere of mystery and space. Side Two, "Deception," moves into different territory, with Saft's distorted Hammond Organ sailing over Previte's active, commanding tom toms in a blues-based jam of wild ferocity and intense foreboding. The plot thickens.

The Land of the Snow is a project and a state of mind of Joel Gilardini (baritone guitars, electronics, and drums programming), backed up on drums by Jacopo Pierazzuoli (Obake, Morkobot, and Deneb). TLOTS is devoted to massive, metal-oriented soundscapes: a constantly evolving sludgy mix of doom and post metal (often seasoned with noise and dub elements), which often takes its inspiration from alpine landscapes and Tibetan traditions. The new album As Within, So Without is about what's inside people, how they interact with the outside, and vice versa. It's a constant exchange and confrontation that drives peoples' lives and pushes them to widen their horizons with each step they take. As Within, So Without was conceived together with Jacopo Pierazzuoli (drums), Eraldo Bernocchi (mix and additional guitars), and Petulia Mattioli (artwork). Joel is an experimental guitarist and sound designer, based in Zurich. Beside TLOTS, he is also known for his ambient-drone works (released on labels like ZeroK, Unexplained Sounds Group and Endtitles) and is a member of the noise-industrial combos Mulo Muto (with Attila Folklor) and Psychic Drones (with Kazuyuki Kishino).

Doomdelic instrumental space prog rockers L'ira Del Baccano are back with their fourth album on Subsound Records, Cosmic Evoked Potentials. The album release will be preceded by a video for the single "The Strange Dream of My Old Sun". Producer and guitarist Alessandro Santori says about the album: Cosmic Evoked Potentials is a rite of passage, the end of a cycle and already blooming of another. Surely their most instinctive effort so far. The band went back to their roots of live recording, this time instead of a stage they chose an old mansion from late 1700s outside Rome. The atmosphere there was so charming and stimulating that 13 minutes of a 45-minute-long improvisation ended up in the album.

Songs Of Stone is a musical project based on several epigrams, elegies and laments that Gabriele Tinti composed inspired by epigraphs from the ancient world. It arises from the wish to sustain the necessary link that joins us to the rituals of the past. The inscription on durable material was one of the languages the ancients used to oppose the transience of oral expression, wishing to conserve their words in time. Tinti gathers these ideas to create verses he entrusts to the actor's interpretation, thus combining the impression of the spoken word and the visual participation of the words in stone. The readings are made by Malcolm McDowell, star of numerous cult films including A Clockwork Orange, If..., and Caligula. Tinti's words and the actor's vocal performance are put together by Massimo Pupillo in a work intended to transgress the confines between reality and ancient mythology. Massimo has created an imaginary landscape, creating a visionary theater for Gabriele Tinti's words, a sound world born and based on the precise and eloquent vocal timbre of Malcolm McDowell. Using a plethora of different sources, various synthesis, samples of Eastern European choirs, processing McDowell's voice, Songs Of Stone will bring the listener in a twilight zone between dreams and mythology, where remote past and future horizons meet.

Sigillum S, have been covering unknown territories among extreme electronics, fringe acoustics, and occultist noise since 1985. The result has been an endless series of mutations, where, from the droning ritualism and ethnic explorations of the late '80s through the surreal science fiction soundtracks of the '90s, they have arrived at the super deep complexity of the new millennium. "... we propose to study a generalized growth model, including all categories of unconventional literatures and yet coalesce them around critiques of linear thought... hence our estimates would be some of the endless positive examples for further conjectures on the end of time... this could drive the need to communicate perception samples to all other forms of intelligence... evocative prescriptions which could offer potentially misleading guidance for future research, but nonetheless alter sensorial mixing times with random cycles and fragmentation chains..."

Since its creation in 2007, Hifiklub has led more than 150 collaborations which have allowed the Toulon trio to open its music to multiple artistic experiences revealing a constant desire for research and novelty. From unprecedented encounters to unique projects, Hifiklub has developed over the years a now substantial discography whose musical proposals range from pop to jazz through the most experimental sounds and even traditional music. One path, however, remained unexplored: contemporary music. Last Party On Earth is organized around the association of three energies: contemporary composer Jean-Michel Bossini, singer Duke Garwood and the instrumental ensemble Hifiklub. Surrounded by mysticism and darkness, the creation has cinematographic dimensions. It positions the listener in a depth and disposition of soul where the voice -- and the poetry -- of Duke Garwood is carried by Hifiklub and Jean-Michel Bossini around cold and tormented atmospheres. The album seduces by the detail of its sounds, its apparent tranquility and its intimate atmospheres thwarted by harsh flashes. Mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven), the album sees the exceptional participation of the string trio Anpapié (Alice Piérot, Fanny Paccoud and Eléna Andreyev) who magnificently perform the score by Jean-Michel Bossini. Personnel: Pascal Abbatucci Julien - drums, percussion; Eléna Andreyev - cello; Jean-Loup Faurat - guitar; Duke Garwood - vocals, guitar; Régis Laugier - bass; Nico Morcillo - guitar; Alice Piérot - violin; Fanny Paccoud - alto.
