Conceived in limbo, the Compton White EP tells the story of a childhood lived between many homes. Its creator, Lloyd Whittle, is part of a generation of Romany showmen -- "Sand Scratchers" -- who have settled on the coasts of Great Britain. The EP was written to capture the duality of the "island" and the "mainland."
