Abstrakto are Grammy-winning vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Asdru Sierra (of Ozomatli) and LA-based producer and DJ Balthazar Getty. The duo's acclaimed self-titled debut album is a testament to their fusion of styles, showcasing Latin sounds with electronic production and a distinctly LA hip hop edge. It's presented here alongside an LP of remixes that expand upon the duo's boundary-pushing styles. Abstrakto Remex includes remixes by Abstrakto, Vizion, Anthony Valadez, King Dave, Free Slice, and Jansport J, with appearances from Kap G, Elan Atias, and Res. Two 180-gram LPs; disc one (Abstrakto) is black and disc two (Abstrakto Remex) is white. Bespoke gatefold sleeve. The first co-release from The Vinyl Factory and Balthazar Getty's Purplehaus Music.

180-gram LP. The Vinyl Factory presents the superb album Good Hand Bad Hand from world-renowned Vancouver-based artist and musician Rodney Graham and his band. Showcasing his signature blend of rock 'n' roll, psychedelia, and folk-tinged country, and treading a fine line of deft lyricism influenced by Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Lou Reed, and punk, Good Hand Bad Hand is perhaps Graham's most accomplished LP to date. The packaging is also pretty special, with Graham's classic self-portraiture artwork featured on bespoke silver-foiled gloss-coated outer and inner sleeves. Though Graham is best known as an artist for his films, photographs, and installations, music has been a major part of his work throughout his career; from performing with the band U-J3RK5 in Vancouver in the late 1970s through composing soundtracks for slide and film works to his performances and recordings as a singer-songwriter, including the records Rock Is Hard (2003), I'm a Noise Man, and Why Look for Good Times? (2008).

Dinos Chapman returns with a new EP, Luv2h8, showcasing three brand-new tracks that mark a clear progression for the artist-turned-musician. Clocking in at nearly 10 minutes each, these compositions encompass the throbbing, dancefloor-oriented title-track, the bucolic and unnerving "The Combine" and the snaking, hypnotic "Samourai." Also included on the EP is a monstrous proto-techno-style remix of "Luftbobler" by producer Trevor Jackson.

Gatefold double LP version. Brimming with subversive energy, searing wit and gallows humor, Luftbobler is the debut album by Dinos Chapman. Consisting of 13 tracks of electronic "Schlampige Musik," Luftbobler is the result of a decade of experimenting with sound. Inspired by insomnia, horror movies, and boredom, and made in a DIY fashion in the basement of his East London home, Luftbobler reflects Dinos Chapman's interests in the industrial pulse of Throbbing Gristle, willful experimentation of Stockhausen, and impish playfulness of Squarepusher, but sounds like none of them. At once eerily familiar and yet unplaceable, the album's multi-layered, innately physical soundscapes create a powerful sense of dislocation. Abstract and kinetic, the heavy low-end hits you in the solar plexus while the densely collaged melodies toy with your imagination. Dinos Chapman has also created the album's cover artwork, a limited edition of which will include a hand-tipped color etching. "...like a naked mole-rat plucked untimely from its snuggly basement-burrow, on its back, all squirmy, exposed to the sun's dissecting rays." --Dinos
