COR 130EP
Luca Ballerini pays respect to his role models Sven Väth, Carl Craig, and the masters of modern electronic techno art, Basic Channel, and follows the music of artists like Levon Vincent or Omar-S. These influences are apparent in Impressions of a Dawn, which comes with a slight mid-'90s vibe, but Ballerini merges them to create his own style, his own music. A true storyteller, he doesn't just focus on one simple bassline-beat combination. "Orizzonte" follows the vibe of big Guy Gerber or Tim Green productions; overall, this is great cinematic techno for all the epic and emotional moments on the dancefloor.

COR 120EP
Verona-based producer and DJ Luca Ballerini is proof that Cocoon Recordings is still looking for new kids on the block. The dreamy and harmonic techno productions of Shlomi Aber and Guy Gerber seem to be the blueprint for Ballerini's style, however, the Italian producer is not copying here at all. The Israeli influence is noticeable, but Luca Ballerini creates his very own style by adding straight and solid techno- and house-beats. This special mixture covers a wide musical range from relaxed after-hour-techno to an emotional peak-time club sound.

BAO 046EP
Italy's Luca Ballerini debuts on Be As One with a four-track EP of exciting, fresh techno. Two well-balanced sides, both showcasing Luca's different approaches to the label sound, and a different output from the label. An EP that shouldn't be missing in any collection.
