180-gram 12". Fresh, genre-bending interpretations of Konrad Black's "Scorched Earth." dBridge is a legend of UK dance music, active as part of the drum and bass group Bad Company in the late '90s, running his extensive label Exit Records, and regularly releasing on Boddika's Nonplus, Metalheadz, and R&S. Here, dBridge offers an up-to-date hybrid that straddles the line between techno and breakbeat. Romania's up-and-coming Barac has released on Raresh's Metereze imprint among others and launched his own Moment imprint in 2015. His extended mix of "Scorched Earth" is a deep, hypnotic journey through space.

Continuing its ongoing preoccupation with the vast universe, deep space, spirit and consciousness, Meander presents the Scorched Earth EP by Konrad Black, a selection of advanced 101 techno-infused break-beat science. Creating precision dance music, Black conjures the essence of the explosive meteorite, its afterglow, and its sonic resonance. The results are powerful, timeless sonic treatments for body and soul, pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl. Together with fellow Canadian Mathew Jonson, Konrad Black founded the influential Wagon Repair label in 2005. This 12" precedes a record of remix interpretations by genre-defining artists from the underground electronic dance music scene.

This is the third volume in Watergate Records' series of mixes dedicated to the sounds of the Watergate Club in Berlin, mixed and curated by Konrad Black. Situated by the river Spree, and known for its first-rate line-ups of international talent and, of course, its famous wall-to-wall LED dance floor installation, the Watergate Club has quickly become one of the world's leading dance music clubs. The Watergate series delivers only the finest DJ mixes by some of club's most exciting residents and guests. With the focus not only on the music, but also on the packaging and design, this series will quickly become a truly sought-after collector's item. Konrad Black is a founding member of the Wagon Repair label and part of Richie Hawtin's M_nus family. For Watergate 03, he delivers a mix containing influential classic material as well as current gems, including a new, unreleased collaboration with Martin Buttrich and a forthcoming release by Mathew Jonson. His signature dark vision of techno shines throughout this utterly seamless mix and reflects his self-perception as a DJ. Over the years, Konrad's sound has found a home at Watergate Club and one can catch him playing there on a regular basis. Other artists include: Alex Cortex, D. Diggler, Raudive, Loco Dice, Onur Özer, Matthew Dear & Seth Troxler, Stephan G, Queen Atom, Cesare vs. Disorder, Louderbach, Thrill Cosby, Ben Klock, Discogs, and Paul Ritch.

"Mat Jonson's Wagon Repair returns with a superb offering by our good friend Todd aka Konrad Black, known for his previous releases on Swayzack's Volt and the likes. The Vancouver resident and constantly Europe travelling Mr. Black delivers two reduced dramatically intense 'X Files' tracks that come very close to Matt's own releases. Mysterious intelligently and very open structured the two tracks are brightest lights and darkest nights at the same time (if you know what we mean). A thick, long lasting, effective high density double A-side rocker for all times."
