Two irresistible instrumentals from legendary N'awlins saxophonist Herb Hardesty, the man who was a regular fixture in Dave Bartholomew's band through the '50s at Cosimo Mattassa's studio and was Fats' bandleader. Here in a rare solo outing, Herb blows over two of his own compositions -- jazzy, swinging, blues-y numbers with a minor key feel. "Just a Little Bit of Everything" is actually an alternate take from what was originally issued, recently found on session tapes from Federal Records.
