Parallel Dance Ensemble are the disco-not-disco duo Coco Solid and Bobbi Soxx (producer Robin Hannibal). The off-beat pair pumps out jams that are funny, slightly sinister and sassy as hell. Together, PDE's tongue-in-cheek joints have all the hallmarks of an early '80s party and beam you back to the glorious days of disco rap complete with Salt'N'Pepa haircut, Reebok Pumps and tons of Hubba Bubba in your mouth.
