RELEASE DATE: 1/10/2025
Randomer returns with a new EP: Everything Happens for No Reason. Released via Anetha's label, Mama Told Ya. After a reflective hiatus, the UK prodigy is highly anticipated and ready to deliver meaningful music. The EP features five emotionally charged tracks -- four produced by Randomer and one co-produced by Randomer and Anetha. Presented on a single vinyl, the release conveys a deeper message: life's unpredictability can be embraced. Torn between the meaningful and the meaningless, Randomer channeled his time into crafting music shaped by his extensive study of melodies, subconsciously seeking to bring harmony to the world. The result is a cathartic journey across five tracks, each evoking a broad spectrum of emotions and inviting listeners to explore the depth of their feelings. Drawing from the music that deeply influenced him, Randomer traverses various genres and moods, seamlessly blending techno, trance, techstep, and sacred choral music in a perpetual act of personal reinvention. For this new EP, Australian visual artist Nic Hamilton has been commissioned to create a poignant artwork alongside two melting teasers for MTY-012. As always, the design is expertly crafted by Diplomatie Studio, while the mastering is entrusted to Six Bit Deep, ensuring a polished and immersive listening experience.

DKMNTL UFO5-EP
|
UK DJ and producer Rohan Walder, aka Randomer, furthers his exploration into deep, spatial techno on Dekmantel's UFO imprint. "Van Pelt" skips on the off-beat at just over 130bmp, and textured with kicks that sound like two robust, metal dumpsters being hit together. "Shadow Harp" is quintessential techno, with yet more thudding, dark-kicks layered against a syncopated plucked and jarring bass. "Dissolve" drips and oozes with a sunken undercurrent of dystopic-melancholy, driving in ruptured reverb with a tribal percussive foundation. "Slicing" dares to take things a little further, as the rounded-hollow kicks punctuate against more metallic, and analog sounds.

DKMNTL UFO2-EP
|
Next up for the brand new Dekmantel UFO series is Rohan Walder, aka Randomer, who has been causing a stir with his uncompromising, bass heavy cuts on labels like Clone, L.I.E.S., Hemlock and Numbers. The Londoner graces the UFO series with his signature sound that blurs the lines between big-boned techno, sizzling side-step house and Afro-inspired drum programing. Delivering a four-tracker that's a highly energetic and confident outburst of a unique electronic music soul, Randomer properly handles the abstract sound esthetics of Dekmantel UFO.

TURBO 148EP
|
Turbo launches its Warehouse Series with London's Randomer. In a few short years, Randomer has developed a dedicated cult following, with exceptional releases on some of the UK's most respected underground labels. "Ruffa" and "No Hook" are built on clanging, banging, metallic, distorted drums that pack a heavy punch. "Ruffa" has a distinctly electro feel, centered on a catchy, syncopated synth riff, while "No Hook" relies on only the most basic and brutal elements. Remixed by J. Tijn.
