Endless Flight announces the first album by Canadian nu-disco producer Eddie C. Eddie C has released on popular disco-oriented labels like Jiscomusic, Sleazy Beats Recordings, Flashback, 7 Inches Of Love (run by The Mole & Koosh) and Endless Flight. All of his releases are highly-acclaimed and he is slotted as the brightest hope in the nu-disco and house scene. The album kicks off with a lovely, soulful tune which reminds a bit of Minnie Riperton or Dennis Williams. "Love Journey" and "Pains Inside" sound like pure '70s soul stuff. "Your Love" is the first track that Eddie has sung by himself, his vocals are reminiscent of Arthur Russell a little bit. "Listenin'" is hip-hop mannered beatdown stuff. Eddie shows his dubby disco side with "Dub Me Gwen," for fans of DJ Harvey or Idjut Boys. "Space Shuttle" is modern Krautrock disco. The album comes to an end with some uptempo stuff: "Do It Yourself" has a killer Philly disco sound and "Deepa" is more of a housey track. "Starlight" and "I'm Sorry" is more electric boogie house: if you like the music of Tensnake, you will love both of them. This album includes all elements of modern disco music from '70s soul to '80s boogie to disco-oriented house. Artwork by Hamburg-based illustrator Stefan Marx.
