Released in 2006 as an EP, From Buraka to the World introduced Buraka Som Sistema's explosive fusion of Angolan kuduro with bass music to the world. Twenty years on, the full album version -- expanded in 2007 -- gets its first ever vinyl pressing. This limited color vinyl edition includes "Yah! (feat. Petty)," the breakout hit that set the tone for everything that followed, and "Wawaba (v.1.8)" as the sole version of that track, in place of the two takes that featured on the original release. The release is part of a wider reissue of Buraka Som Sistema's discography on vinyl, marking their long-awaited return to the stage.
