Aus Music follows up Huxley's Give 2 U (AUS 1469EP) and Gerry Read's 3, 2, 1 (AUS 1471EP) with its 72nd release and the first contribution to the label from Toronto-born, Leeds-based producer Bwana. Flute Dreams is an iridescent record that sits comfortably in big spaces. The title track crescendos behind a thrumming kick and chirping melodies as it gathers luminous tones and textures throughout. Simian Mobile Disco's tense and capacious remix drives clipped acid patterns under hustling drums.
