On Trapped In Dub, Alex Celler combines his usual tribal rhythms and techy beats, but not without some unusual elements added into the mix. The title track has a bit of Tuning Spork humor, with children chanting and clapping, punctuated by soul-brotha guitar hits. "Indalgo" is more restrained, with snappy beats countered by gentle chimes, and a pastiche of samples. "Luciola" features tumbling, punchy drums and a soaring synth melody that rounds out the EP with a buoyant tone.
