Percussionist, composer, and producer Thomas Blanchot began a career as reggae producer in 2006 under the Mato alias. Since then he's released on labels including Makasound, EDR, Big Single, and Stix, developing his trademark of turning hip-hop and pop classics into roots reggae dubs. His 2014 Homework Dub album (STIX 039LP), which presented his vision of Daft Punk's classic 1997 album, won international acclaim. Here, Mato returns with renditions two film soundtrack pieces -- the amazing "'T' Stands For Trouble" by Marvin Gaye and "Enter The Dragon" by legendary composer Lalo Schifrin -- in advance of his 2016 album Hollywoo Dub.
