Girl group The Demures recorded "Raining Teardrops" for Brunswick in 1965. Although not commercially successful, the recording was a huge spin on the northern soul scene in the UK. Demand has driven the price of this coveted rarity well into three figures on a regular basis. On the flip is a newly-remastered version of Chicago soul group The Lost Generation with their summer of 1970 mellow ballad "The Sly, Slick and the Wicked."
