When I found myself on the main dance floor of ://about blank during Berlin's most beloved party, Buttons, I was immersed by the sounds of Shingo Suwa. He has honed his skills as a resident DJ and producer for many years. In MDF, one will hear how his experiences have heavily influenced his productions. Now, Acid Camp release MDF, Shingo's debut album and the first album released by the label. Includes a bonus remix from Eric Cloutier.

Next up on Acid Camp Records is a record created by duo John Tejada and Justin Maxwell. The opening track, "I've Got Acid (On My Brain)" is a mind-bending wavetable freak-out. Using a vintage EMS vocoder to create an original vocal sample, this track is bright, playful, and vivacious. "The Name Rolls In" is layered in an acid playground of sounds. It's a distinctly groovy track with a potent 303 bass line, prominent percussion, and that infamous vocoder. "Field Notes" is a beatless, celestial arrangement carried through by tiers of sounds, filters, and noisier elements, creating an alluring sonic dreamscape.

Acid Camp Records is rolling through again with the atmospheric and cosmic-oriented tracks of Natan H. "Atmosphere" begins with layers of time signatures working in tandem. The oE-kilter drums grow towards a heavier climax. Techno serialist Conforce provides a remix. Through the use of filters, polyrhythms, and kinetic programming, Conforce lays a blueprint for driving techno. "Remote View Pt. I" is an ambient break, shifting gears to a place both ethereal and planetary. "Remote View Pt. II", again, breaks away from traditional timing by tracing layers of hi-hats, delayed strings, and synths that alternate throughout the arrangement in syncopation.

Acid Camp present their debut release, Simic's Corot-7b. The Seattle- based artist's full-length EP, features four tracks and a remix by John Tejada. The title track is moody, and brings an expansive, spacey vibe. Tejada remixes "Corot-7b" into a groovier, forward-moving track with a bassline that brings a bouncy and uplifting mood. "Sysop 1" opens with a catchy, quick-witted synth line that eventually draws in a light tempered shaker. "Expressway" is light and dreamy - a diverse ambient track that can be the perfect warm up or cool down with eloquent use of percussion: chimes, wood blocks, and bells.
