"BK Records will be releasing Revolution Girl Style Now on vinyl and CD formats for the first time. Our reissue features three previously unreleased and mostly unheard tracks: Ocean Song, Just Once, and Playground. These songs feature a decidedly more grunge sound than the rest of the Bikini Kill catalog. The Revolution Girl Style Now demo tape was originally self released in May of 1991. The demo was recorded by Pat Maley at the ABC House in Olympia, WA earlier that year. Bikini Kill played one of their first shows at the house the night before and left their equipment set up to record the demo the next day. The songs were mixed by Guy Picciotto (Fugazi) and mastered by John Golden for this reissue."

"Bikini Kill Records is excited to announce its first release on compact disc! The First Two Records is a compilation of Bikini Kill's self-titled and Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah vinyl reissues, which were released in 2012 and 2014 respectively. The self-titled EP, originally released in the fall of 1992 and reissued on BK Records in 2012 is comprised of four songs recorded by Ian MacKaye on July 3, 1991 at Inner Ear Studios; one song from the band's 1991 demo cassette, recorded by Pat Maley (Yo-Yo Studios); and one song recorded during Bikini Kill's live performance April 4th, 1992, at Washington, DC's Sanctuary Theater. Side A of Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah was originally released in 1993 as the BK side of their split record with the UK's Huggy Bear, to kick off their legendary co-headlining tour of the UK in March of that year. Those tracks were recorded in their Washington DC basement practice space on a 4-track reel to reel in 1992 by Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses, The Champs). Side B featured seven previously unreleased songs that were either recorded live at shows during that era or at Bikini Kill practices. Those seven tracks are being released here on CD for the first time."

"A reissue of Bikini Kill's second EP, Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah was recorded in 1992 with Tim Green (Nation of Ulysses) at The Embassy - a group-house in Washington, D.C. - and was the first Bikini Kill release to feature the band's song, 'Rebel Girl.' Originally a split EP with the Brighton, UK-based band, Huggy Bear, the B-side now features seven previously unreleased Bikini Kill songs drawn from era-appropriate live shows and practice tapes. The artwork has also been updated to include archival photos and liner notes from the Bratmobile's Erin Smith, Comet Gain's David Feck, and the members of Bikini Kill. Bikini Kill was a feminist punk band based in Olympia, WA and Washington, D.C., forming in 1990 and breaking up in 1997. Kathleen Hanna sang, Tobi Vail played drums, Billy Karren (a.k.a.
