LP version. "This album collects the entirety of Los Mockers' original recordings, including an LP, several singles, and a cover of the Rolling Stones' seminal 'Paint It Black.' The record is presented by Get Hip Recordings in gorgeous hi-fi, pressed on durable 180 gram vinyl. Los Mockers are widely regarded as one of the best Latin American bands to emerge from the Uruguayan Invasion of the '60s. Formed in 1963 in Montevideo, Uruguay, the young group relocated to Argentina in 1966 after winning a contract with EMI Argentina. Los Mockers modeled themselves heavily on the Rolling Stones, covering many of their songs (in English). Vocalist Polo Pereira (with a slight accent) emulates Mick Jagger's early snarl more accurately than anyone else from the time."

LP version. "An anthology of mid to late '70s studio recordings, some of which ended up on the Nervebreakers' late-70s 7" vinyl releases on Wild Child Records, some on the 1979 Texas punk LP compilation Are We Too Late For The Trend? (ESR Records), some on a volume of Italian label Rave Up Records series of American Lost Punk Rock Nuggets, and others that have up-to-now never been publicly released. Includes the original (and best) hit recording of 'My Girlfriend Is A Rock,' the title anthem "'Hijack The Radio,' and punk classics like 'Why Am I So Flipped?,' 'I Wanna Kill You,' and 'I Love Your Neurosis.' Also included are proto-punk psych-y gems like 'My Life Is Ruined' and 'Beyond The Borderline.' The CD release has four additional CD-only bonus cuts including an early (different from the We Want Everything LP) take on the Troggs' great 'Strange Movies,' an original 1977 demo version of 'Hijack The Radio,' and from 1975, a moody slice of Syd Barrett-like proto-punk-psych called 'See Me Thru.'"

"The very popular Killed By Death series brought attention to some obscure punk bands that otherwise would have been totally ignored. One of these bands is the Authorities, a Californian early '80s punk combo. Their almost classic single 'I Hate Cops/Radiationmasturbation' was featured in Killed By Death Vol. 1 and created a great interest among punk collectors. Well, now a full length CD release is available for everybody to enjoy. The 14 tracks included here were recorded in 1982 and 1983 in Modesto, Ca. and Stockton, Ca. Also included is a nice 8-page booklet with the lyrics for all the songs and information the band."

1995 release. "Killer Dallas, Texas punk band! Vocals by T.Tex Edwards and featuring the hit 'My Girlfriend Is a Rock' and many other catchy punk anthems. The legendary Nervebreakers opened for the Sex Pistols in '78. They released their EP 'My Girlfriend is a Rock' shortly after. Two more singles followed and then they recorded an album that should have crowned their glory. But it did not come out on LP until 1994 and is now out-of-print! So here's your chance to discover one of the greatest Texas punk bands ever!"

"On November 19, 1980, the Nervebreakers won the 'Agora's Battle Of The Bands' in Dallas. Their prize was free recording time at Pantego Sound Studios in Arlington, TX, where these two songs were recorded. The single was originally released in 1981 on Wild Child Records."

"'69' has been hailed as the 'definitive '60s Pittsburgh instrumental record' and 'Pittsburgh's Bolero.' Released in 1965, the 45 '69″/'All My Love' sold like wildfire going through several pressings totalling 10,000 copies! If basic instrumental garage rock is your thing, it doesn't get much better than this. And if you like '69,' you're sure to like the flip which has been unreleased until now."

"This 45 documents the final chapter of the legendary Starlites' story. After personnel changes in 1967, they changed their name to the Beatin' Path and released this 45. 'The Original Nothing People' stands as one of the true classics of garage punk with put-down lyrics, heavy beat, cool cheesy organ and Seeds-inspired guitar. Originally called '8 X 10' with lyrics about a drug experience, vocalist Steve Musser lost the lyrics and had to come up with new ones for this song which was then renamed. Obviously they were at a loss for more words since the flip of this 45 is an instrumental."

"By now, you probably know that Swamp Rats screamer Bob Hocko recorded with the Fantastic Dee-Jays before the Rats wreaked havoc. But even before his talents were revealed in those two combos, Hocko was leading another McKeesport trio entitled the Chains. Formed in the early '60s, the band initially played covers of standards like 'Little Star' and 'Under The Boardwalk' before graduating to Rolling Stones and Kinks covers with the onset of the British Invasion in 1964. They also did their own stuff, and two previously unreleased Hocko originals are presented here for the first time."

"This 45 collects the A-sides from the Flowerz' two 45s, both of which charted on Reading, PA's WRAW in 1968. 'Flyte,' from their second 45, is a perfect blend of garage and psych with fuzz guitars, tempo changes and a dark organ sound. The flip, from their first 45 is a mid-tempo garage number with hooks that you'll remember for quite awhile!"
