Klangfarbe Schallplatten presents their tenth release, the X, featuring tracks by some of their favorite artists, which already appeared on Klangfarbe Schallplatten as artists, remixers, DJs, and/or live acts in the Klangfarbe Klub events in Cologne. On A1 you'll find Todd Bodine's "Love & Hate," which starts with a dark mood and develops into a real monster. Tandem follows with a shakin' groover, followed by MRI, who delivers a powerful techno-stomper. Daniel Mehlhart wraps up with a constructed, harmonic song.

On this EP, Oliver Schories delivers a summer track which immediately puts you into a good mood. Just get on his "Organ Freeway," there's no speed limit. The B-side is somehow darker and moodier, sinking in layers of sounds, directed by the low-tuned piano. All together huge summer tunes which are released on lovely 10" vinyl.

Klangfarbe Schallplatten presents two powerful tracks by label manager, producer and DJ-team Tandem, including a remix by Resopal head Stephan Lieb aka MRI. With "ääd," Tandem delivers a massive groover with lots of rhythmic details and an atmospheric melody. "Himmel" starts straight with some one-tone loops and a bouncy melody, accompanied by unobtrusive, atmospheric pads. The MRI remix of "Himmel" is more atmospheric than the original track, but develops into a complex sound collage with a tribal and percussive flow.

Klangfarbe Schallplatten presents the first full EP by Jules & Moss, containing three new tracks and one remix. "Kapoun" is a cool & sophisticated accordion track in a typical French tradition, but with a modern groove. "Noke" is a relaxed minimal groover with organic percussion, nice melodies and some freaky sounds. Channel X have remixed this track into a more uplifting version. "Soep Van De Dag" (Dutch for "Soup Of The Day") starts fairly neo-trance-y but ends with nice organs.

Two tracks from label manager, producer and DJ team Tandem, remixed by Sweet'N'Candy and John Lagora. "Laid Back" is contemporary, with its own, very special deepness -- a true groover with a massive bass line and swingin' Hammond. "Sweet'N'Candy" aka Rico Henschel picks it up and brands it with freaky samples and warm chords. Tandem shows their darker, more technoid side with "Melting Pot." John Lagora batches this track with a craggy bass line and slicin' hi-hats, creating a gloomy room.

Founded 2007, Klangfarbe wants to display a platform with a diversified spectrum of electronic music -- for fresh and ambitious artists as well as for their own project Tandem. Styles beyond ordinary and stereotyped thinking build the coloring of Klangfarbe Schallplatte and present to you tracks not only functional, but furthermore always aural artworks. So open your mind and ears. With their own definition of deep, percussive but also melodious sounds, DJ and live act Brauns & Wagner completely fit the label's philosophy. In their work long lasting producing know how of Holger Brauns (Flug von Welt/Her little Sister/Liebe*Detail et al.) is combined with Tim Wagner's (Parquet/Whirlpoolsex et al.) DJ experience and his keen sense of vibes on the dancefloor. For 'Them van,' they created a full tonal response, consequently built up of a pumping, drifty bass line, groovy summer tunes and melodious samples with unexpected harmonies. This will surely make the crowd move!"
