"The third release in the highly acclaimed St. Albert's Dream series once again brings you some of the rarest and most obscure underground psychedelic cuts from 1968-1972. This time round, the Alchemist has mixed a 'phormula' to take you on a deep underground trip of fuzzed-out psychedelic intensity, by creating elixirs of chemical-based sounds to remedy your psychedelic needs. You'll hear a morbid swirling organ and guitar-driven tale of love lost from Mississippi's Flower Power, heavy powerful drumming and guitar intensity from Missouri's Sound Company -- and an insane twelve-minute fuzz and effect-laden acid freak out by The Olivers from Indiana. The remaining six cuts are just as heavy, with as much fuzz, effects, psychedelic sounds and 'acidity' as you can handle. The nine cuts here have been remastered from micro-pressed 45's, original unreleased master tapes, and one never-produced acetate. Created from the depths of the '60s and '70s underground by and for lovers of the mega-heavy and ultra-obscure sounds of that magical era."

"Raucous country music and blues, both traditional and original, with a gritty roadhouse sound and feel, recorded in 1962 at Threadgill's, the famous Austin beer joint and music venue. You'll hear beer bottles hit the floor, doors slam, chatter by the band, including some choice expletives by Janis as she laughs and banters with Lanny and Powell throughout the recording. However, the music is not overwhelmed by the background, and the raw talent heard in Janis's clear, so-much-older-than-her-years vocals is unmistakable and undeniable, leaving little doubt about her greatness. Lanny's consistent and timely guitar playing and Powell's soulful harmonica work, coupled with the ever-present Janis vocals, offer a time capsule of a sound that would soon circle the globe. The first authorized vinyl release by this legendary three-piece group from Austin, Texas. Formed in 1962, the Waller Creek Boys consisted of Lanny Wiggins on acoustic guitar, Powell St. John, later of The Conqueroo, Mother Earth and songwriter for the 13th Floor Elevators, on harmonica, and a then-unknown 19-year-old female singer, recently transplanted from Port Arthur, Texas who would go on to bigger things -- that's right, Janis Joplin. The album includes five songs that have never been released -- and the album's remaining nine songs haven't been commercially released in almost fifty years. All the songs were re-mastered from the original 1962 tapes, which have been in Powell St. John's possession for almost sixty years. Included is a 14-page booklet with first person anecdotes from individuals who were part of the band's inner circle during those formative years in Austin."

"Heavy 'dosed' psychedelia where The Prophet takes you to the depths of the unknown Acid Land. Twelve tracks from some of the deepest underground acts in North America, from the years 1968-1972. Plenty of raw fuzz, swirling effects, deep lyrics, heavy beats, and cool hooks from these mostly unknown heroes of this long past era of musical creativity. Sourced from micro-pressed 45s and unreleased master tapes, these songs have never been compiled on vinyl before. Hear wizardry from such acts as Osceola, Hindenburg Lyon, Ark, Merriday Park and others. The very detailed fantasy cover art evidently shows 'The Prophet as he enters the mythical Valley Of The Stone Giants.' And why not? Created for and by lovers of the mega-heavy and the ultra obscure."

"Superbly constructed pop psychedelia c. 1968, performed by some of the best musicians in the world! First commercial release of any kind and in any format of these recordings. Comes with an 8-page booklet with photos and detailed information of the creation of this rarity. Lion Productions and Lysergic Sound Distributors are excited to announce they have solved the mystery of this magical recording: it is the work of the iconic Wrecking Crew and other famed musicians of the era -- assembled by Grammy-winning composer Allyn Ferguson -- and recorded over four sessions in the summer of 1968. Wrecking Crew members participating on the album are: Hal Blaine on drums, Howard Roberts on electric guitar, Bill Pitman on electric bass, Al Casey on electric guitar, Chuck Berghofer on standup bass, and Dick Hyde on trombone; Emil Richards on percussion, and John Pisano on guitar. Other notables appearing on the album are Pete Jolly and Lincoln Mayorga on piano, and future Byrds' drummer John Guerin. The twelve songs that are presented here for the first time as a commercial vinyl release have been remastered from the original studio tapes, provided by the Ferguson family. This historic reissue also includes an 8-page booklet with heretofore unknown information and pictures, including copies of the union contracts from the original recording sessions and a color print of the original proposed album cover."

"A brand new, limited edition, vinyl-only, hand-numbered pressing of 800 copies. One of the heaviest fuzz psych garage comps ever pressed; psychedelic with an acid inspired sound throughout. There's 11 extra heavy cuts originally recorded from 1968 to 1972 by 11 different, very obscure bands from all over the U.S. All the tracks are authorized, restored, and re-mastered from various sources, including unreleased master tapes and newly discovered acetates. None of these tracks have been compiled on vinyl anywhere else. These unknown bands include Oracle, Wheatridge, the funereal organ and sludge guitar of Greylock Mansion, Frozen Sun (who perform a seven minute Hendrix space fuzz anthem), and seven more similar unknown bands that leave you with a record full of acid-drenched trippy lyrics, swirling organ, spacey effects and heavy guitar. Plenty of fuzz and thumpin' wah-wah. The wildly colorful cryptic psychedelic cover is a brother to Cream's Disreali Gears, or maybe Golden Dawn's Power Plant; obviously over-the-top!"

"For the first time anywhere on vinyl, Lysergic Sounds Distributors proudly presents Bold Chicken. Formed in 1970 in Akron, Ohio by future Rubber City Rebels leader, Buzz Clic, the band began gigging around north east Ohio playing the standard cover band repertoire, but snuck their own crude original tunes amongst the usual top 40 fodder, which must have truly bummed out the rust belt bar denizens looking for a good time, swaying and singing along to 'Smoke on the Water.' Bold Chicken went into the studios in 1972 and recorded an ultra-crude demo of four depraved songs which LSD presents on this 7" disc that deals exclusively with the seedier side of fornication, including the misunderstood homosexual in 'A Fellows Lament,' the teenage sexual frustration of not sealing the deal in 'Gears and Tears,' an amorous ode to a lady of the night in 'Streekwalkin' Queen,' and ending the set up with a song about contracting VD (natch!) titled 'Oh Doctor Please.' The tunes have a sound that Todd Killings of Victim of Time described as 'a top-notch find in the vastly unpopular world of Midwest bad glam-punk in a pre-Ramones America. Not as art-bent as Debris' and not as straightjacket-worthy as the nearby Electric Eels, this is more a quality studio recording of a "far-out" drunken quaalude party, (complete with obviously fake, limp-wristed backup vocals) that you weren't supposed to know about. It can definitely stand on it's own with anyone else hitting their stride in '72, as it's heavy, but not metal, crazed, but not psychedelic, punk but not prog, and even dumber than the Stooges.' This is a limited fully licensed hand numbered edition of 350 directly mastered from the original tapes."

"Recently discovered 1972 Latin teen soul-funk-rock private press mega-rarity from rural New Mexico. Pressed in very small numbers, this previously unknown gem is a very accomplished mix of smooth gliding soul and up-tempo funk, complete with swirling Hammond organ and mellow harmonies to go with the fuzz and funk guitars. At the album's core, however, beats the heart of an adolescent small town garage rock combo. This six piece teen group, led by Rick Chavez and the smooth vocals of Ray Williams, features nine very catchy original tunes to go along with their very own funky version of the classic, 'Bo Diddley.' The great music on this authorized reissue has all been restored and re-mastered and is now offered as a very limited vinyl pressing for the first time. We have also restored the original hand-drawn outsider psychedelic cover art. With less than a handful of original copies known to exist at this time, this is a great new find and an absolute 'must have' for the collector of rare soul-funk-garage vinyl."

"The first ever release by Devil's Kitchen, perhaps the best of the greatly talented but 'forgotten' bands from the legendary San Francisco psychedelic scene of the late 1960s. Devil's Kitchen played all the major venues in the Bay Area and Los Angeles during this time period, opening for and playing frequently with many very well-known bands, including The Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Santana, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Allman Brothers, Big Brother And The Holding Company with Janis, The Charlatans and many, many others. The band spurned a recording contract offer from Mercury Records in 1968, displeased with the lack of creative control offered them by the label. Consequently, they never released any recordings. There are eight original unreleased tracks on this album and all were taken from the original master tapes that were recorded in 1969 at the Family Dog Ballroom On The Great Highway in San Francisco and the Sierra Sound Recording Studio in Berkeley. The music has a great and unmistakable late 60s acid-drenched West Coast guitar-driven blues-psych sound with snaky electric slide and roaring fuzz guitar throughout. The discovery of these master tapes and this subsequent release of Devil's Kitchen's first full length album, more than forty years after the recordings were made, is an exciting find for the collectors of obscure 60's psychedelia. How a great band like this remained under the radar and unreleased for all these years is mystifying. Limited pressing of 1000 hand-numbered copies. Includes a reproduction of Family Dog handbill from March, 1970, featuring Big Brother & The Holding Company, Kaleidoscope and Devil's Kitchen. Welcome again to the great San Francisco sound of the late 1960s."

"Two discs of raw, distorted, overblown fuzzed-out sludge rock by the eccentric and enigmatic small town, self-proclaimed son of an intergalactic space traveler who claims to have been visited years ago by the guitar-playing ghost of Jimi Hendrix. Disc one is the first-ever authorized reissue of the original Meet Your Ghost album which was originally recorded in the late '70s. It's been restored and re-mastered here. Disc two is a collection of 11 previously unreleased tracks that were recorded before the original Ghost album These tracks had literally been lost for more than eight years. These new tracks have also been restored and re-mastered and contain almost every kind of guitar effect, feedback and sound imaginable, not to mention Vulcan's eerie 'alien message' and spooky backward masking effects. A very heavy and raw bit of garage rock with some bizarre psychedelic effects. One of a kind! This double album is housed in a spectacularly re-designed psychedelic gatefold cover with lots of never-before-seen photos of the reclusive Vulcan. Also includes a separate insert of a mind-blowing interview with Vulcan himself! Limited to 600 hand-numbered copies." Last copies.
