Randomer returns with a new EP: Everything Happens for No Reason. Released via Anetha's label, Mama Told Ya. After a reflective hiatus, the UK prodigy is highly anticipated and ready to deliver meaningful music. The EP features five emotionally charged tracks -- four produced by Randomer and one co-produced by Randomer and Anetha. Presented on a single vinyl, the release conveys a deeper message: life's unpredictability can be embraced. Torn between the meaningful and the meaningless, Randomer channeled his time into crafting music shaped by his extensive study of melodies, subconsciously seeking to bring harmony to the world. The result is a cathartic journey across five tracks, each evoking a broad spectrum of emotions and inviting listeners to explore the depth of their feelings. Drawing from the music that deeply influenced him, Randomer traverses various genres and moods, seamlessly blending techno, trance, techstep, and sacred choral music in a perpetual act of personal reinvention. For this new EP, Australian visual artist Nic Hamilton has been commissioned to create a poignant artwork alongside two melting teasers for MTY-012. As always, the design is expertly crafted by Diplomatie Studio, while the mastering is entrusted to Six Bit Deep, ensuring a polished and immersive listening experience.

Vel makes a splash with the release of her debut LP, There is Always a Solution, through Anetha's label, Mama Told Ya. After three exciting EPs and the recent rise of her Live performance, Vel made waves last year with the track "Velds1" on MTY-AIR Mille Attaques, Les Vents Contrèrent (MTY AIR, 2023)\ in collaboration with LDS. She is now ready to unveil her first full-length album. There is Always a Solution flows with two slippery vinyl records and ten immersive tracks. Nine tracks are produced solely by Vel, while one is co-produced by Vel and Anetha. Once again, Mama Told Ya returns with a valuable lesson: no matter the challenge, you will flow a way. The High Priestess of Drums plunges you into a world of vibrant techno and brisk tribal rhythms, while her ambient passages offer a calming retreat and her mental influences are bound to stir your emotions. Rest assured, "there is always a solution." Renowned for her expertise in rhythmic innovation and spatial soundscapes, Vel presents a revitalizing and dynamic release. MTY-011 promises to cleanse and rejuvenate -- let yourself be immersed. With a hint of irony, "The Babe" playfully teases, "Do you love me? Do you love my music?" But Vel's real question is more reflective: you're in deep water. Dive into the sound bath of "Humans in Cafe", close your eyes, and let the drums, the kicks, the bangs, and the buzz wash over you. One "Xanax Introspection" later, Vel is inviting us to explore the full spectrum of frequencies -- a galloping race of deep bass and high treble in this ambient choreography. Don't let the relentless "BPM Anxiety" drown you. Its tortured synth may try to hold you back, but you're free. You're in your "Pop Tribe", and nothing can stop you "DRUM BIG." Darling it's better down where it's wetter: joining Vel for a jam session "under the sea", it's Anetha! Driving percussions are combining with a pulsating psytrance bassline, pure magic: "Ain't We Mermaids", dear? -- Vel, ever the master of the salty beats, slows it down just enough to say, "I Don't Care," as she deconstructs. A few moments later... She's at it again -- just when the BPMs are peaking, she draws us into a state of floating lethargy. That's the absorbing power of "Ambient Core". The current is strong with this one -- prepare for a challenge. "Deep Tracks Don't Sell" will drift you away in a swirl of intertwining undulations and dripping drums. It's time to return to the surface: with a bubbly twist of whimsy, "Oh La La" pops in, full of new-wave energy. Vel gently swims us back to shore. Mastered by In Aeternam Vale.

After a first amazing LP released in 2020 (MTY 003LP), Mama Told Ya put UF095 in charge once again, but this time, she said: "You've got 10 tracks to blow our mind sweetie. Use your difference to make the difference." Same high-potential kid, no different outcome. And same singularity! Ride with UF095 and learn some good shit about weird techno, IDM, and early gabber. Use Your Difference To Make The Difference brings you through one deep introspection looking for your own uniqueness: please explore yourself. For this new Mama Told Ya LP, the fury(ous) artwork has been commissioned to French digital artist, sltcamille. Her ability to tell melancholic fantasy stories let us all stand in awe. Diplomatie Studio took care of the design, mastering was entrusted to Sixbitdeep -- no difference here. No doubt that with this second album released on the label, UFO95 shows once again that he has something more. A little ounce of digression that makes him very unmistakable. "Wet for it" features ANETHA.

Paris-based DJ and producer Anetha's enigmatic label Mama Told Ya is a collaborative venture. Pushing artists out of their comfort zone to new heights of experimentation and creativity, yielding progressive results that challenge and intrigue. The next instalment comes in the form of a kaleidoscopic debut release as a double-vinyl pack from French producer and A/V artist UFO95, titled Popularity Is Overrated. This will be the first double EP on the label, with previous records released as split EP four-tracker collaborations with artists and Anetha herself, including Niki Istrefi, Hadone, ABSL, and Sugar. UFO95 is a French electronic music producer, who finds his roots in '90s techno, UK jungle, and also through IDM, creating a unique tribal sound. His lives (live; live A/V) are like his music, dynamic and really hypnotizing. He releases his debut LP Popularity Is Overrated on Anetha's label, Mama Told Ya. As well, Anetha collaborates with a different visual artist on each project; Recsoverto takes center stage on the cover for this release, who combines ethereal visuals parodying Japanese video games and hyper-real typography. The record is beautifully eclectic and has the effortless feel of a live set from a promising new producer. Opener "Sun S4lutation" is a silky melodic affair, diving into a runaway breakbeat with a hypnotic edge crafting an effortlessly colorful trip. "2am" is a tense nosedive into techno's heady mutations, harnessing a prevailing kick and wormhole synths. Up next is the masterful collaborative track with Anetha "On/Offline". The track starts with an infectious energy, before vocal inflections and a dreamy hyper-real synth melody blend to hypnotic heights, transporting the listener to an open-air rave. "Should I Go" is heady and bold in its brutal drum work and twisting synths, "Enchanted Forest" is playful and addictive, "Rrkja" starts wild until heavenly synths glow around the edges, and "OE" carries the sentiment of amalgamation with a fierce kick drum and a symphonic chorus. Ending on a rough edged high, closer "Volcano" takes an IDM approach with glitchy drums, weaving synths, and groovy vocal inflections.
