Italian artist Fedele unveils exciting project Depth Of Being, which again finds him exploring all new electronic music realms. The 11-track album arrives on his own label Obscura and is his first since going solo. Fedele is a key part of the underground scene and has been working alone for the last three years since his departure from Agents of Time. He has truly made his mark in that time with music on the likes of Ellum Audio, Tiga's Turbo Recordings and his own Obscura. This superb new album is a mix of stylish progression from the signature sound Fedele is known for while the other side of the album dives more into the experimental world, using more vocals than before.

Obscura label head Fedele makes his long-awaited return to the imprint for new EP The Awake, Pt. 1, backed by remixes from Extrawelt and Midnight Operator aka Mathew Jonson and Nathan Jonson. Fedele's penchant for synthesizer techniques and drum machines has caught the ear of global tastemakers, with projects released on the likes of Turbo, Afterlife, and Ellum receiving support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Tiga, Tale of Us, Dixon, John Digweed, Miss Kittin, and DJ Stingray. With sights set towards summer peak, the Italian returns to his Obscura Music imprint with his latest work, The Awake, Pt. 1. "Riot Dance" leads the line with crisp kicks on a heady rise to set the groove before an analog-tinged synth line claims the hook. Acidic tones and ethereal stabs offer a generous dose of psychedelia, while the gritty groove ensures the cut's ability to ignite dance floors. "Modular Madness" harnesses ominous flavors and a driving bassline that ebbs and flows to keep minds melting. The melodies open into swirling synthetics, with revolving reverberations and rich soundscapes capturing the ear from start to finish. Storied German duo Extrawelt arrive on remix duty, taking the reins on "Riot Dance" to twist a low- slung groover. They bring the bassline into the foreground, keeping a delightful vibe alive and welcoming a touch of light to the dark underbelly of the original, before diving back into the deep as the track unfolds. Obscura regular Mathew Jonson connects with a producer he knows well -- his brother Nathan. Together, they remix "Modular Madness" under their alias Midnight Operator. Picking up the pace, they maintain the acid-laced grit from the original arrangement, while adding serene melodies to the high-end. A balanced rework from two seasoned veterans.

Mathew Jonson & Agents Of Time take their on-stage collaboration into the studio for a new EP on Obscura, Repeating Pattern, Numbers and Letters. Italian trio Agents Of Time realize a longtime dream with the eighth release on their Obscura label. "Repeating Patterns, Numbers and Letters" features the infectious vocals of Jonson's wife Isis, and the spirited vibe of those sessions comes alive. Jonson's inimitable splashes of funk and the Agents' fluid basslines continue on the B side with the kaleidoscopic breakdowns of "IG00156".

Ahrpe Records co-founder Amandra navigates a unique space between droning ambience and polyrhythmic funk on Dame De Bahia, his first release to emerge on Italian imprint Obscura. This is the French, Warsaw-based producer's second album and follows a string of acclaimed EPs on Ahrpe, Semantica, Tikita, and Silent Season. Complex patterns are woven through sustained tone clusters to foster an unlimited sense of energy and focus. Radiant synths glisten over live percussive loops whilst infinite pads wander the boundaries of light and dark. Amandra uses minimalist techniques to build tranquil sonic spaces that evolve on their own accord, making way for carefully mapped-out rhythmic cycles. The result is an immersive listening experience replete with subtle details, but never cluttered. Amandra on the release: "Moody and lightful, this album combines many aspects I cherish in electronic music. Dame De Bahia LP is a direct nod to my beloved Mediterranean roots."

Obscura, the Italian based imprint run by Agents Of Time, present their second release featuring new tracks by a variety of artists. The label owners offer a disorienting line of acid tension in "Sequences" followed by minimalist master Voiski's "Floodlight For Sunflower", a deep-end percussive workout. Parisian underground export François X is next with stripped-back hypnotic roller "Rigid Monitor" whilst The Hacker explores face-melting electro on "Analog Blizzard". Conceptual Spanish producer Orbe pairs interplanetary glitches with low-end bass structures on "Temporary Mutation" followed by Warsaw-based Frenchman Amandra who delves into droning tribal percussions on "Derviche Roba". Abstract Division, the collaborative project by Paul Boex and Dave Miller offer an eerie, energetic builder on "Unfolding Process", followed by British techno mainstay Roberto's funk-injected robotic workout "Talisman".

Italian based trio Agents Of Time launch their new electronic-music record label Obscura. "Era" is the first track of a new era for Agents Of Time: strong analog sound, led by the classic AOT hypnotic sequencing. "Dungeon" is a further step in a dark and obscure world: strong bassline, powerful drums, and magnetic synths mark the uniqueness of this track. "Rebellion" is where the Agents have pushed their own limits, for the most aggressive track of this release: a perfect combination between techno and psychedelic atmosphere. "Lower World" looks forward: a jazzy and acid composition.
