"7th Sign lives up the expectations of what you might expect of such a high quality techno label! 'Gyal Flex' is a deep and dubby groover with dramatic stabs and spacey soundscapes. A very proud and classy track! On the flip we find Duplex delivering one of their rare remixes. It's 'Left Then Up' who gets the make over treatment. Duplex manages to keep the beauty of the original and given it their signature deep techno twist. The original mix is a beautiful uptempo hybrid of edgy techno laced with the soul of house. Fits in every record box."

Features: Estroe, The Machinists, Automaton. "Massive track alert! Dutchy Estroe drops on of the best techno tracks of the year. Detroit Techno at its best... I don't even try to describe it...just check it out. But don't forget the flip side. Not sure who the Machinist are...but if Chicago house is your thing you can get one of the coolest Chicago tracks in a long time. A Robert Armani/Dance Mania shaking basement style track. This goes on and on and really works the floor. Excellent track...probably more then excellent. The EP tops it off with a nice and dubby piece of electronica. Brilliant EP for the 7s collective."

with Alex Smoke remix. "For this installment we have new artists from the roster providing the sounds, Solab (Ross McMillan and Graham Wilson). Solab is the new project of these two guys from Glasgow. Having a long term love affair with Detroit techno and having a healthy music scene in Glasgow...you can expect some quality music. It seems that all the friends from Glasgow have a love affair with Detroit (Alex Smoke, Funk D'void, Marco Bernardi, Hutton Drive). Anyway...3 tracks of smooth classic techno influenced by Basic Channel and early Carl Craig works but all with some modern minimal flavor."
